Description: German Vintage 4/4 Violin, Strad Copy, Rich Tone, Setup, New Strings, Case, Bows This vintage Stradivarius copy comes set up for performance. The soundboard is solid hand-carved Spruce with light spirit markings from the tree’s natural grain. Sometimes the tree has something to say as expressed in unusual grain figures. The violin has a fresh setup, a new set of professional grade strings installed, and they are pre-stretched in for tuning stability. A set of four black and gold fine tuners are included and will be installed for you before shipment at your request. This vintage Strad comes with an excellent rectangular case and two bows. It has a good Brazilian wood 4/4 bow, and then a fiberglass viola bow with a fully lined frog that is perfect for slower, deeply expressive lines and fills. A viola bow opens many exciting options for a violinist. It has more hair than a typical violin bow, and the sound produced is fuller and very rich when used on a violin. It can be a fantastic additive to studio recordings. A winter bridge is installed, but two lower summer bridges are included. A lower action bridge is used in Summer because a violin’s wood swells with heat. The lower action bridges are also ideal for all popular fiddle styles and are easy to switch. Case straps are included, and the case has connections for both back straps and shoulder carry. This vintage Strad violin is in good used condition. It has slight scratches, a few tiny dings and micro nicks, along with light finish blemishes and some very minor finish checking due to use and age.
