Description: German WW2 Very Nice Original Condition k98 Mauser Locking 3rd and Final Short Side Rail Variant Sniper Mount Base. Hard to come by especially in this condition! Book picture for reference only being from "The German Sniper 1914-1945" by Peter R. Senich. NOTE that a similar base being Not complete missing its Front Stud over which the scope's mount locking lever closes and being Very Rough in condition had sold for 525 on Ebay. My Side Rail Base listed here is way nicer being overall in far much better condition with sharp dovetail edges, and it is complete with its Front Stud over which the scope's mount locking lever closes. Very Hard to Come By!
