Description: I have for sale a medal that commemorates the General Meeting of the Musical Societies of Alsace in 1830. The medal is bronze, it is 1 5/8 inches in diameter and in circulated condition. The medalist was Friedrich Kirstein. One side shows a seated half naked female playing a harp. At the rim it reads REUNION MUSICALE ALSACIENNE.
