The finish is Murphy Lab Heavy Aged Double Gold with a dark back. The overall weather-checked aged parts are stained, and the attention is on the Bigsby and the ABR-1. Of course, the finish peeling off the top elbow and the buckle scratches on the back of the body are also irresistible. The neck is a 1959 Les Paul neck shape with rolled binding. The pickup is a Custom P-90 single pickup with a good attack, mid-sound, and drive. Recently, the number of P-90 fans has been increasing among artists both overseas and domestically!! The weight is 4.2kg with Bigsby. This is a well-balanced instrument with a solid low range, thick and sticky mid-range, and brilliant high range. Tom Murphy and Gibson have scientifically analyzed the nitrocellulose lacquer of the 1950s and 1960s, which by its nature changes over time and develops cracks called weather checking under the finish, and through repeated testing with prototypes of various models, have developed a lacquer process that reproduces the natural weather checking of vintage instruments.
