Description: 1951 Gibson ES 350 in Sunburst finish.Guitar has modified wiring- Selector switch, Master Volume, Master Tone. A previous owner had the guitar over buffed, as a result , the outer ply of the body binding was over heated, as were the original knobs (included) ,causing some cracking and crumbling in the body outer ply binding only-the neck and headstock binding is fine. Guitar has Repro Tailpiece and Repro Kluson Tuners. At one time there was a strap button installed on the neck heel, and has been plugged. Guitar has easy, low action with D'ADD Chrome Flatwound strings .10-.50 . Great P-90 Pickup sound, they read Neck: 6.51 k ohms, Bridge: 7.57 k ohms. With exception of the binding issue, guitar is in excellent condition,with little fret wear. Non original Hard Shell case. Photo makes the Guitar appear reddish – the Guitar is a Cremona Brown color and is not as reddish as it appears in the photo.
