Item Description Gibson L-50 '49 (1949) [Gibson L-50 ;49] A rare 1949s vintage Gibson archtop guitar has arrived! This model was produced from 1932 to 1971, and production has now been completed, making it a valuable model. It has an archtop structure with a bulge in the center of the body top, and is said to be inspired by the cello, a stringed instrument. The structure and sound are completely different from the currently mainstream flat-top guitars, and the bridge section is shaped like a violin or other stringed instrument, giving it a crisp sound. It is characterized by a unique lingering sound with a sense of reverb. It goes perfectly with genres such as jazz and blues, and when playing quarter note rhythms, the crisp, edgy sound makes the rhythm stand out.
