Description: Discoloration at the horn and waist (treble side) and lower bout at arm rest; various light scratches/scuffs on finish and plastics; some wear on bridge; finish chip on headstock bookend on the treble side with some delamination spots on the headstock. Original plastics as sold by Gibson and as such stamped "MOD" on back of headstock. Case bit itself by the latch as depicted in photo # 14; is not a perfect fit for the Special either as the neck does not rest perfectly on supports, as such I always keep a bit of cloth under the body to make the neck level and encourage more support, and it will ship that way as well. Gibson listed the weight as 8.55 pounds.
