Description: 1936 Schwinn LaSalle (non deluxe) 26" Girl's Bike that underwent a frame up restoration in the early 90s. It has never been ridden and stored in an indoor showroom ever since. The restoration by an amateur restorer is close to factory but not exact. Painting and chrome plating were done by professionals. Some liberty has been taken with the accent color of the fender tip color but could be easily changed to match the original factory paint color. All chrome pieces have been redone at the time and show some areas of fine pitting. Original seat was left unrestored. Tires are NOS white wall. Pedals are NOS Persons Supreme. Sprocket is older "skip tooth" with 1" chain spacing. This is a rather rare piece of Schwinn history that can continue to be displayed enjoyed indoors, or ridden or mingle with other rare bike collectors at antique, bicycle, or old car shows.
