Description: My research ( felicitus-perpetua.com) indicates this quarter-stater gold coin dates from around 50 BC. It probably originated in the "Catuvellauni" tribal area of the Celtic Roman province in Britain. It was found north of London in 1990. It is perfect ( to my eye). Clean, unmarked, butter-yellow gold. It was pulled from the ground, washed in water, and held in a coin preservation folder. The front is clear. The obverse has no real, discernable, design. It is around 14mm, and the photo shows it beside a US quarter for scale. Free, insured shipping to US addresses. Priced at what seems to be low-market. A beauty.
