Description: Fresh end cut with a very slight hand polished surface. Mixed precious quad metal ore acid test of nitric and muriatic testing acids shown in silver, 14 K gold and platinum acids. Photos show small filings test from the silver area indicates a copper combination with the silver remaining in the acid with the swab test turning blue (blue color indication mixed with a little copper). the 14 K gold acid filings taken from the gold spots seen up close is at least 14K with a very small amount copper. The platinum taken from the silvery part of the slab shows some silver color remaining with a with a yellow swab color indicated gold inside the platinum parts and also embedded in the silver area. Mixed metal ore with a very, very light amount of iron. Very little mild magnetic properties. There are also spots of Chrysocolla in the ore just a small amount in this end cut piece, the chrysocolla increases in the middle of the whole ore, now slab cut ore. Photos are taken with and without flash, the flash photos show more detail of the ore. The silver is more tarnished than in spots with brighter silver spots indicating platinum. The silver in the ore will tarnish and appear darker if not cleaned regularly. Test indicates a combination in all metals. Mostly the three main metals with copper combined. Silver and is about half of the slab that measures 3 inches x 2-5/8 inches from the widest points, the thickness of the end cut to straight cut the next slab is a taper cut 1/2 inch that tapers to 1/8 inch thick. Rarity combined metal ore from a historical registered mine, closed and non-producing.
