Description: Here is a wonderful calendar from 1897. It is titled Golden Words from Tennyson Calendar for 1897. The front shows January 1897 with beautiful flowers and words from Tennyson. Also, Raphael Tuck & Sons, Ltd., London, Paris, New York - Published at the studios in England and printed by the "Rafolith" Plates at the Fine Art Works in Saxony. Held together by wire loops and a chain, each page has words from Tennyson and beautiful floral and scenic views, along with the monthly calendar. There are a couple of corners that have been torn but all in all it is in great shape - 127 years old. A beautiful piece to add to your collection or would make a wonderful gift.
