I usually use hickory, but for this special edition, I wanted a darker color which mahogany offers . lightly sanded with 1000, then 2000 grit sandpaper, hand painting (3 coats ) with 3 coats of clear. these are a 1 of 1 special edition for 2024 Olympics with USA Team olympic logo, USA and olympic rings graphics.
