His first posthumous retrospective traveled for 4 years to 14 venues, exponentially increasing the number of museums to have exhibited his work. Further solo shows have since been held at Pariss Jeu de Paume, Londons Serpentine Gallery and New Yorks Dia Center for the Arts.
