Gorgeous Burnett "Parisian Street Scene - Paris France" Original Oil On Canvas

Description: This stunning original oil painting by Caroline Burnett captures the essence of a Parisian street scene with the iconic Arc de Triomphe as the centerpiece. The canvas measures 24 x 36 inches and is unframed. The painting showcases Burnett's skilled use of impressionistic style and oil painting technique set amongst an iconic landmark. The staples on the stretcher would indicate a production date post-1940 (assuming this was not re-stretched). You can see the age throughout the back of the canvas, there is obvious foxing and aging (rusting around some staples and clear aging throughout the back of the canvas). On the back of the stretcher it appears to have hand written in black ink Paris, F 1871 or 1971, this is covered by a traced green marker (see photos). There appears to be a stain on the back of the canvas, however, this is possibly a foxing effect as there is no stain that bleeds through to the front of the painting. There is some corner wear and a what looks like dirt smudged on the front upper center (in the cloud area). We did not attempt any cleaning or restoration given the age of the painting. The signature of BURNETT in the lower right corner is in all CAPS and in brown paint.
