Description: Here is a gorgeous, vintage strand of gracefully shaped red carnelian beads.They feature a stunning glow when they are in bright light.There are knots in the silk between each bead, and a gold 'plated' older-type clasp. The clasp, and two small accompanying beads, tested as 12k gold, but there are no marks, so I am calling it plated.The clasp mechanism works smoothly and easily.There are 43 carnelian beads in all, and the necklace itself measures 34 inches when opened.Each individual bead measures 3/4 inches long by 3/8ths inches in diameter.These beads are all hand-shaped so they differ, in minute ways, from one another.These beads and the entire necklace are in excellent, used vintage, condition with no damage or repairs.
