That BLUE GLOW - mastery of the artist! There is much to look at inside this piece. Fish, sea cucumbers, anemone, grasses and other plants. The controlled bubbles on the blue really are amazing and this BLUE! All that beauty set off by this amazing blue and the controlled bubbles. I believe the blue in this weight is a technique called sommerso. No matter what it's called - the artist has managed to put this blue in there in such a manner that it catches the light and looks just like in my pictures without any special lighting. It really looks like it's glowing just like in the pics. Amazing. These pics were taken sitting in my den on the little styrofoam picture box I made. The lighting is simply from my ceiling fan/light above where I was sitting taking the pics. That the entire inside isn't this blue only adds to the depth of all the great stuff you can find inside this weight. The first 5 or 6 pics I did lighten a little w/ the eBay built in editing just to better show off all that is inside. You'll see this did nothing to alter the amazing blue in this weight - it just is what it is - awesome. A definite masterpiece to add to any collection or sit alone - either way - it's very eye catching and fabulous to look around in. I can usually ship everyday. I recycle any packing materials I can so it may not be pretty but I pack safe and secure. USPS insured.Currently NOT shipping outside the US.
