It has restoration to fill 4 cracks along the width of the bone, but the rest is all original. The last 10 pictures are before restoration to get a sense of what work has been done. The base of the stand does have some surface rust on it. Gorgosaurus libratus was a species of large Tyrannosaurid Theropod dinosaur which reached over 30 feet long and 3 tons in weight. This Metatarsal is from the Two Medicine Formation in Teton County, Montana. It measures approximately 12 inches long (30 cm). Cretaceous in age, approximately 80-74 million years old.
