Quality Standard: Near Mint (NM) A "Near Mint" card need not necessarily be perfect, as it may contain the smallest imperfections, most of which are so small thay are virtually unnoticeable. These small blemishes may be either natural or synthetic, but are very mild. Natural blemishes are based on manufacturing defects such as print lines or a small curvature in the physical card. Synthetic blemishes come from actual handling and playing such as nicks and scratches. Our grading standard is such that "Near Mint" is extremely close to, if not entirely, perfect. Lightly Played (LP) "Lightly Played" cards have seen a bit of play and may show small signs of wear and tear. These signs may come in the form of barely noticeable nicks, scratches, scuffs, and/or minor trauma on the edges of the card. Moderately Played (MP) "Moderately Played" cards are more likely to contain several blemishes of noticeable severity. These blemishes are the same as those mentioned for "Lightly Played" cards. Heavily Played (HP) "Heavily Played" cards are essentially damaged cards. These damages can range from moderate to very severe. Some of these cards can be so damaged that the slightest additional trauma may cause the card to be destroyed and rendered unplayable/unuseable.
