In most cases we find that customers return their tech purchases due to buyer's remorse. They have been reset to its original factory settings and are in Grade A condition. This means that the product will be in overall excellent cosmetic condition but may include minor blemishes that do not affect performance. The operating system is in its original manufactured state.
