Norman William Granger was born 10 March 1833 in New Marlborough, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts, son of William Granger (1796 - 1880) and Laura Bradley (1796 - 1894). On the 4th of March 1855, he married Sarah Fedelia "Delia" Howe, born 19 December 1835 in Norfolk, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, daughter of Silas Howe (1810 - 1877) and Sarah Wilcox (1810 - 1873). Norman was a carpenter and for many years watchman at the William L. Gilbert Clock Company in Winsted, Litchfield, Connecticut. Delia died 23 April 1917 in Bloomfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut and was laid to rest in Huxley Cemetery in New Marlborough, Massachusetts. Norman died 1 January 1923 in Winsted and rests beside Delia.Their children include: Roscoe Howe Granger (1856 - 1931), Homer Clifford Granger (1861 - 1944), Maude Louise Granger (1874 - 1874), Lewis Guy Granger (1875 - 1951), Amber Margaret Granger Smith (1877 - 1957)Photograph measures 4.5 x 6.75 inches and comes from the Deming photography studio in Winsted, Connecticut. It is in excellent condition for a photo over 100 years, but is not perfect. There is aging. Please see photo scans for inspection.
