You bet ... as offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker patch / satin ) for the Amazing ! September 9, 1987 ( 9/9/1987 ) Fall Tour stop - at the Providence Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island ( RI ) !!! And, in hindsight ... it's just about only fitting that the Backstage Pass for This ! Show has a Red Rose Ace ! right on it ... as this Show was indeed one of the many very-special G.D. Heaters ! from the entire 1987 Touring-Year ! I'll never forget getting the SBD tapes of this Show, right-after the fact - which ( naturally ... ) I proceeded to actually wear-out - prior to even the 1990's arriving !?! And, ( naturally ... ) they were replaced promptly ! - twice !! Ha ! At least to me, and my ear - and my G.D. taste & style right during this era ( which, has never really changed too much ! ) ... I just thought that this Show the Band delivered on this night - was Completely-Stellar !!! And, I do suppose the ' main ' Claim to Fame on this 9/9/87 Show was of course the Devil > Molly > Devil - which, the Band only played a handful of times in '87. And, it's also ' arguably ' the best of them all ... but, this Show was just so-much more -- Wow !! Pocky Way came Scorchin' straight out of the starting gate, with a Big ! Jack Straw to follow. The Cassidy was totally a Peaker ! And, Greatest Story actually was played-into the Devil > Molly > Devil !!! Which, was just so-hot - with Garcia just Swirlin' ! on the Mutron III ... Fat !! tone. Then, oh my ... as this Set II was pretty much ' Ideal ' & Perfect ! for this Era, Time & Space !! Holy G.D. !?! - as this one even ' looks ' perfect on paper, and plays & sounds ! even-better !! >>> China > Rider !!! > Playin' > China Doll > Drums / Space > Wheel > Gimmie Some Lovin' > Throwing Stones > NFA !!! With then ... an NFA > Mighty Quinn !! as the Encore ! before the Boys all walked off real-proudly - and, deservedly so ! This was the 3rd Show of a 3-Night stand at the Civic, and this Whole-Entire ! Providence Dead run was just a flat-out Burner !!! And too, this run also even kicked-off the '87 East Coast Fall Tour ! - so, just as you might imagine, and what so often did tend to happen in this case ... the Energy ! was just Red-Hot !!! Off to the Cap Centre next too - for Three-more ! right after this Providence stand, as the Fall Tour '87 Legend ! definitely continued. Totally hard to believe that this Tour is now well-over 30-Years Ago ?!? So yeah ... just snap These-Tapes ! in the Good Ol' Nak ! - and it will still feel just like Yesterday ! Mid/Late '80's !! G.D. Magic !!! - and nothing-short of it. Wow ... Enjoy !!!!!
