Description: Specimen description; COLOR, Purple, bluish purple, & grayish purple tints & hues, and a little pink color this specimen. Has a botryoidal bubble flow pattern. Massive in shape. Smithsonite enrichment flow over a lot but NOT all of the specimen. Back of the specimen is rotted, limestone & dolomite matrix typical of these type skarn deposits. (See picture 12) Treatments: Soap and fresh water scrubbing only. MEDIUM to Large cabinet specimen. Clarity: Opaque. Location is the El Refugio Mine, Choix, Sinaloa Mexico. Dimensions are approx. Length 3 1/4 inches. Width 1 3/4 inches Height across the widest part of the base is 3 1/4 inches. Weight is 335 grams PICTURES: All taken outdoors in full sunlight.
