He has a master of science degree in southeast European studies: politics, history, economics with the grade arista from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; a master of theological studies degree with highest distinction from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology; and a masters degree in Marxist philosophy from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
