Description: Im thinning a few beasts from my modest collection. Note that I am not a serious collector of typewriters. It just happens that I like the looks of those with character, mostly 'modern' era, and I tend to find them discarded and unapreciated. This is a '70s-era machine that is in nice clean shape and condition with no major flaws. All keys strike and make appropriate noise. The color is a beautiful shade of soft green . There is a bit of scratching on the back center and corner above where it mounts into the case. There are also some numbers scratched into the front bottom, but it seems odd if this is the serial number. See pics. I flipped the ribbon around to test the keys. You can see the results of most on the paper. New ribbon is recommended if you plan to use this. This item will be shipped by the carrier of my choice. PLEASE NOTE: This unit is for purpose of collecting and sitting on a shelf. If you plan yo use this, then it will likely need servicing and a tune-up and probably new ribbon. I am NOT selling this as a 100% serviceable unit out of the box. It's 50 yrs old! I have had issues with buyers complaining about antique items not being 100% serviceable. This is not perfect but it is in very good shape. Consult pics and ask questions if you have them.
