Early Spanish settlers called hummingbirds "flying jewels", which has influenced the types of glass I chose to make this one. It is made of a variety of colors and textures of glass to give it a jewel-like appearance. I have depicted it in flight with its wings extended forward. It is a substantial size of 9" across from the tip of its wing to the end of its tail, and 4" tall. It is made from green, teal, and blue glass.
