Description: Griswold #14 cast iron skillet with the large block logo and heat ring. Manufactured between 1944-1957. Very good restored condition. This monster measures 16 1/4 inches across at the spouts and 2 3/8 inches tall. Weighs in at only 9 pounds 11 ounces. No problem feeding the whole crew with this guy :) No cracks. Sits flat on a glass surface with no wobble or spinning. The outer surface is excellent with a crisp, clear logo and lettering. The interior cooking surface does have some shallow pitting that can be seen in the photos. It is mostly cosmetic in nature and will not affect cooking performance in any way. It is very rare that a vintage cast iron skillet will have absolutely no movement on a glass surface. Most were not perfect coming out of the foundry. There will likely be some small amount of movement on a flat surface. If the skillet is absolutely perfect I will definitely point that out :)
