Description: This is a vintage Griswold red enameled cast iron No 7 skillet, pattern number 701 I. It measures approximately 9 ⅞” in diameter, 2 ¼” high and 14 ⅜” in length overall with about an 8” cooking surface. The interior is a creamy white enamel which has several chips and some discoloration. The outside red shows wear on the bottom and traces of carbon buildup in the crevices but it is a nice shiny red on the sides and handle. Not a perfect example of a Griswold enameled skillet but still a great display piece to add to your collection.
