This is a good example of a metal tie-pin that has the enamel emblem of the island of Guernsey on it. There are no markings on the back and I do not know which company made it but have to assume that it was sold as a souvenir of a visit to the island. From its appearance I think it dates from around the 1950s or 1960s (rather than any earlier or later). It is in very good clean condition. If there is a white spot or a small white strip showing on this badge it is not a scratch or other fault. It is due to the overhead light when I took the picture.
