Description: Guido Cacciapuoti Dog Scottish Terrier c.1920’s. Given the age of this extraordinary dog, the Italian artist, fashioned the Scottish Terrier before the Maltese. The detailing on this porcelain figurine is amazing, from the soulful look in his eyes, to the wild animation and “movement” of his fur. At 5 1/2″ tall x 6 ” long x 3 1/2″ wide, he is in excellent condition. He is hand signed “Cacciapouti”, and stamped “ITALY” on his underside of leg. Price is marked down due to two tiny chips one on the ears and the other one on the back side of tale. Sold as is, this item is rare in its form and is more rare than the Scottish Terrier/Maltese figurine.
