Description: In 1972, Guidon Games published the "Wargamer's Guidebook Series", reprinting the better articles from various magazines on a particular game. All were edited by Don Greenwood, and put together just before he was hired by Avalon Hill. The first of these was Wargamer's Guide to Afrika Korps, containing eleven articles about the design and play of Avalon Hill's 1964 classic game on the North African campaign in WWII. Guidon was one of the first publishers to recognize the nascent market for table-top miniatures. The Guidon publisher, Don Lowry, at one time hired Gary Gygax to work for him. Gary went on to develop a set of rules for a fantasy role-playing game called Dungeons & Dragons, in part based on another one of his Guidon Games publication, Chainmail. This 50-page pamphlet has articles about strategy for Avalon Hill's Afrika Korps game. The guide can help you become an even better wargame strategist.
