This Fleischer production will hopefully be seen by all as the charmer it is. Songs such as "It's a Hap-Hap-Happy Day" and "All Together Now" remain catchy and uplifting, not to mention an Academy Award nomination; the lovingly created characters retain their individual appeal as they play their scenes against richly detailed backdrops; the inventive sight gags never stop coming; and even the simplified storyline remains relevant today--containing as it does a timeless element of entry-level political satire.
