Description: Guyatone HEAVYMETAL-R MAX-20R COMBO GUITAR AMP This is a Guyatone combo guitar amp with reverb. It is a used, working item. I think it is from around the 90s. Made in Japan. The main unit and the paper tag from that time are included. There are no other accessories. It is a small amp with a very unique sound, and in my personal opinion, it is an amp that feels more psychedelic than heavy metal. However, perhaps they thought that it would not sell if it was too mechanical and fuzz-like, but although it is not an extremely fuzz-like sound, it is not a natural drive sound. Both the sound quality control section and the reverb worked without any problems. I hardly felt any crackling from each knob. There may be some. The headphone output was working properly. I played it with a humbucking pickup for the first time in a while, and I don't think the sound has changed since I got it. It still has a unique distortion. The bridge-muted backing of the wound drone chord has a fairly coarse, hard distortion that feels quite good. The plain strings feel thin, so I think it's a good idea to add fineness and thickness with an attachment when playing solos. I gave the whole thing a quick clean before listing it, but there is some dirt that I couldn't remove. Also, there is some rust and dullness on the plating on the metal parts and the top of the knobs due to age.
