The LED light is not for ON/OFF, but for as long as there is a battery. This is an even older model than the company's currently overpriced "Rolly Box" phaser, and is one of the oldest phasers made in Japan. The circuit has not been stripped of its sponge, and it is in good working order. This is a very rare Japanese vintage effect pedal!It has ON/OFF on DEPTH.Battery operated only.
