Description: This is the GVM WY-2V motorized slider. This is a wonderful miniature slider that also acts as a timelapse controller with a 2.5mm cable (sold separately) for your camera. It is one of the quietest sliders I have ever seen so it is great for interviews even up close. It comes with all basic gear from GVM but also comes with extras including an extra USB control cable, a Sony-type battery, a USB Sony battery charger AC adapter and cable as well as alan keys to keep the unit in tune. It also comes with a 3/8#16 adapter which is currently screwed into the base. It also comes with a branded GVM case that has extra space in it for additional batteries, camera control cables, and more. The controller is backlit making it very easy to use in darkened spaces but is easy to see in the daylight. It is switchable for several languages but is currently set to English. As you can see the controller is threaded with a 1/4#20 insert so that it may be attached to a clamp or other 1/4#20 accessory making it easier to use. Most importantly the slider comes with a very thorough owner's manual with full instructions for its operation. The unit may be set for repeat function which is very useful for interviews. It also has a built-in intervalometer for time-lapse with the right cable for your camera and is sold separately. The slider was modified with longer "feet" and threaded so the feet are adjustable for uneven surfaces but it may also (obviously) be put on a tripod. This is a terrific slider.
