Description: This is a rare and excellent H. Disston & Sons #99 3 Medallion Hand Saw with Strong Etch. 9 point cross cut. Near perfect apple handle, and because it has no chip carving and has an early shape could be 1880's. Blade is sharp and straight but has some age blemishing as shown. It is a great addition to any collection of antique tools and woodworking equipment. The saw was made in the United States and has not been modified. It is a highly sought-after item for collectors and enthusiasts alike. I've seen many,many,many #12. Very, very few #99's!!
