Description: 1998 Hallmark Keepsake Barbie Midge Suburban Shopper Spring Ornament " 35th Anniversary Midge Ornament " The Midge doll, who made her debut in 1963, soon became the best friend of everyone's favorite fashion model, the Barbie doll. This year Midge turns 35 and enters the Keepsake Ornament collection wearing a full-skirted dress complemented by a "straw" cartwheel hat and matching tote bag. Described as being "just right" for a Saturday morning visit to the Farmers' Market, the "Suburban Shopper" ensemble was offered from 1959 to 1964. Ornament: Excellent Collectible Condition, has Never been used or displayed and is a Handcrafted Ornament. (never removed from box) Features: Midge the Suburban Shopper. Box: Great Condition, has Never been opened and is without rips or tears. The box does have some storage wear (one very tiny dent on the top left edge, crease on the back of box on left side and some box scratching or rubbing), this is from being sealed in a tote with several other Hallmark Ornaments.
