Hallmark Sterling Silver, 28 Diamonds, Entwined Hearts Pendant 18" Necklace

Please come back often, as we are always buying more goodies to list on ebay. This listing is for a gorgeous sterling silver, diamond, entwined hearts pendant necklace by Hallmark. This lovely necklace features two entwined hearts as a pendant, in which 28 colorless diamonds are set. The pendant measures about .8 of an inch from side to side and about .6 of an inch from top to bottom. The pendant is suspended from an 18 inch, sterling silver chain. The chain is finished with a sterling silver, lobster claw style clasp on one end. The other end features a loop as well as a heart shaped charm that serves as a signature tag. This tag is signed 925 on one side and Hallmark on the other. The side signed Hallmark has some scratches on it where it appears the previous owner tested the metal uses a scratching stone. The way this works is the stone is used to scratch off some of the metal so that an acid specific to sterling silver can be applied to the scratched off metal for testing. You wouldn't want to apply the acid to the actual necklace as you risk ruining it. Though, scratching it still leaves a mild mark, which is why it is best to scratch an area that isn't visible. The scratches aren't noticeable to anyone unless they are studying the necklace through the magnification of a jeweler's loop, such as I am. And the scratches are just on one side of the little heart tag hanging at the back of the necklace, and not on the necklace itself. The pendant is also signed 925 and HMK (Hallmark) on the back.
