Description: These Hamilton Brown Shoe Co Boots could have been worn by Martha Washington as she moved into their home in Mount Vernon, Virginia. Wouldn't that be a fun story. We dont know who actually wore them but they didn't wear them a lot. the bottom of the shoe is not worn too bad, you can still see the makers mark. The bottom is marked by Hamilton Brown Makers Shoe Co and the inside is stamped 430 87547.m The leather uppers do have all over "crazing" in the black leather(assuming leather but very thin and lined with a fabric of some sort??? No torn lace holes, dont see any tears in boots. There is a bit of scuffing along with the crazing. Will still make quite a statement on display or actually worn.
