Description: Signed on its base, this early Hampshire vase will be a perfect addition to your pottery collection. Stands 7" inches tall with a matte finished mottled alligator blue glaze. Signed and marked on bottom with an impressed "Hampshire Pottery 18/3" and an "M" inside an "O," which designates it as a piece designed by Cadmon Robertson for his wife, Emoretta (Robertson was head of production until his death in 1914). Vase has a nice smooth glaze without any crazing or spider veins. No chips, No cracks, No repairs. Just normal as made glaze bubbles and blobs typical for Hampshire. Condition is a worthy addition to a fine arts & crafts pottery collection.
