Description: They hand carve these mexican scoops over there out of whatever wood they have available at the time. So NO two are ever exactly alike and they're all very primitive. When I find them they are very dry and dirty (i.e....NOT "perfect"). I go through and pick out the ones with the most character. You will see slight splits, carving marks, even knife marks to the wood. I clean each one up as best as possible and then I wax them with our personal bees wax formula...........allow it to dry and then buff it out to preserve the original patina. THEN I drill a hole through the handle and attach a small hanging loop. THIS way you can hang it on the wall if you like! They have all of the wonderful carving marks in the wood which I find just precious. The one you SEE is the EXACT one you will receive. This one measures 11 1/4 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide and it is 1 3/4 inches thick (tall). It weighs just over Half a Pound. The scoop you SEE is the EXACT one you will RECEIVE.
