Perfect (and useful!) for any number of things. Some people use them to add a special touch to that special gift. Others turn them into wonderful little candle holders (I've seen them take aquarium crystals and sink tea candles into them. They make great little candy dishes. Just about anything you can dream up! We leave the primitive rasp & saw marks in the wood. And you WILL see slight splits. It's just natural to this type of wood and we simply wax and oil them in to blend with the surrounding patina. We apply our special bees wax formula.........allow it to dry......and then buff it out to the beautiful aged look you see! NO two are ever exactly alike. The one you SEE is the exact one you will RECEIVE. It measures 6 3/8" inches long, 6 1/4" wide and 2" tall.
