Description: This listing is for the PNWSilverCo Hand made & hand stamped .999 Copper Bullion 7 Coin Set featuring Nordic Magickal Symbols surrounded by the Elder Futhark runes. These rounds measure approximately 1 & 1/4" in diameter and 1/8" in thickness Each symbol holds its own meaning and power: Vegvisir - Often called the Viking or Norse Compass, it is a wayfinding symbol. The rune had the power to ensure its wearer never got lost, and always found their way home, even when they did not know the way. Troll Cross - A Norse symbol of protection; when this symbol is worn or carried, it is believed to decrease your chances of falling into danger. Mjolnir - Also known as Thor's Hammer, and represents protection, strength and power to the bearer. For many it is a symbol of honor, pride, strength, duty, courage, and of their faith. Valknut - The nine points of the triangle have been associated with the nine worlds of Norse mythology, and the three interconnected triangles have been said to reflect the connection between Earth, Heaven and Hell. The Valknut is assumed to signify the afterlife and has come to represent the soul's power and strength when battling with gods of death or other terribly adverse circumstances. Odin's Horn - Also referred to as Horn Triskelion or triple-horned triskele. It is a symbol that features three interlocking drinking horns. They allude to the three times Odin drank the Mead of Poetry and are also connected to the divine number 3. Odin's horns is an image of three interlocking horns to show poetic inspiration and wisdom. Yggdrasil - Often called The Tree of Life, Yggdrasil is the belief in the cyclical nature of life. It represents a central tenet for much of Norse mythology: each and everything is in a constant state of transformation. A powerful symbol, the Yggdrasil is at the center of both worlds: immortal and mortal. Protection Bindrune - This bind rune incorporates several runes: Ingwaz (harmony), Isa (solitude), Algiz (divine protection) and Othala (birthright). They measure approximately 1.25" in diameter. They are stamped with my makers mark on the reverse side and each piece is accompanied by a COA (certificate of authenticity) guaranteeing their metal purity, weight and serial # (when applicable).
