There is a "40" circled and written in marker on one of the corners. This was placed on the fabric to note the lady who wove this. I provided a close-up photo where you can see the weave. I purchased this material in Saint Lucia in 2005. This is one of the plaids that is associated with the country and made on the island. I have always kept it wrapped and never used nor washed it. It has been stored with my special stash and have decided to now let some of my fabric go to become beautiful pieces in a home. Packaging and WrappingTo me, each item I sell is precious; a treasure to you. Each piece is imagined as if the last one in existence. Each item is carefully double wrapped and packaged for strength and the ability to make it to its destination safely. I am a realist in that after the packages leave my care, they could be tossed, dropped, and have other packages thrown on them; despite the "fragile" warnings I apply to the outer panels of the boxes.
