Description: This piece of art is a unique and one-of-a-kind creation made from a Gerry's vintage brooch. The piece features a horse-drawn sleigh with riders. It's hard to tell in some of the pictures, but the background fabric is a dark green. The title is "Sleighride." Each piece I make is made of vintage or fashion jewelry, mostly brooches and earrings, recycled frames, and antique quilting or decorator fabric swatches for the backgrounds. Because I am using vintage materials, there are sometimes imperfections, which I believe add to the unique quality and appeal of each piece. I am happy to send additional pictures upon request.
