Please note that there sometimes can be a slight color variation from Photo to actual art work Hans-Günther van Look from 1958 to 1963 studied at the Art Academy in Karlsruhe. He was a pupil of Georg Meister man. He got in the years 1969-1977 several grants (scholarship of the Cultural Committee of the BDI eV, German Academy Villa Massimo in Rome). Van Look was fascinated by the theme of "light and space". From 1981 to 1987 he was Chairman of the Council of Christian artists of the Archdiocese of Freiburg. Christian art was an important element in his work. He has created two others in the Freiburg Minster church windows. One is the nun Edith Stein represents, which was shown in the Freiburg cathedral for the first time on a window.
