Folky, country and bluesy with an odd California beach vibe. These songs are sort of the same American songs we all hear but also very different. It doesn't quite fit cleanly into one genre. I'd say it's contemporary modern folk. I would have a hard time calling this music blues. It's more Motown than blues and perhaps more country than Motown. But then again it's kind of beach bum Grateful Dead thing as well. It's just a little odd...but not very. I did enjoy listening to it!
