Description: NEW -- DISCONTINUED, RARE KNIFE -- MADE IN USA BULK PACKED, NO BOX Harley-Davidson Wolfpup Made In The U.S.A! This is an original Harley-Davidson Wolfpup, designed by Fred Carter and made by United Cutlery when they were located in Sevierville, Tennessee.The knife has a 3-1/8" tanto point blade made of 440 stainless steel, 1/8" thick. It is marked on the left side: "Harley-Davidson". On the right side it is marked with Fred Carter's logo and: "CryoEdge / 440 Stainless / HD0045 / 2002 H-D" with a copyright notice . The "CryoEdge" is a cryogenic tempering process at -300 degrees Fahrenheit to give an enhanced sharpness and hardness. There is a thumb stud for ease in opening the blade--you can operate it right or left-handed, and it has a positive liner lock. The handle is made of T-6 aircraft aluminum with an anodized finish that is hard --Rockwell 65! On the left side of the handle is a checkered rubber grip; on the right side is a removable pocket clip. This knife measures 4-3/8" closed, and it's in factory new condition. There is no box. As you know, this knife was made for Harley-Davidson by United Cutlery when they were located in Sevierville, Tennessee. They had a factory there called "Arrowhead Manufacturing". And in 2007, United Cutlery went bankrupt and was auctioned off by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Everything was sold, including tooling.
