This book begins with the week of May 11, 1861, and runs through the end of the year. The next section covers 1865 with a few weekly gaps (April 15th thru May 27th, July 15th thru Aug 26th, Sept 16th thru Oct 28th and Dec 23rd). Those missing weeks were not torn out of this book, it appears they were not part of the original binding. An incredible display of Civil War era illustrations on 800+ pages, the book measures 16.5" x 12" and weighs almost 11 lbs. Binding is pretty good, hard covers no longer attached, pages are dry and several are loose or torn. Overall acceptable condition for being 160 years old. * Please examine photos closely for condition details. Payments: All payments are due within 3 days.
