Description: This is a very nice looking and recent blazer by Hart Schaffner Marx in a mens size 48L. This is from Dillards and is a HSM 1887 line made in the USA of 100% wool. This is the “New York Fit” Cut, which means it’s more of a tailored, somewhat slimmer fitting coat through the shoulders, chest, and midsection. Please verify all measurements before bidding please. Also please read full description for the details and condition. This is made of a nice wool material in nice light hopsack weave on solid navy blue. This is a nice looking blazer….. please see the up close photos for the material, color and the detailing. This is a single breasted 2 button front jacket. It has 4 buttons on the sleeves and it has a single vented rear. It is fully lined with 3 interior pockets. All the buttons are done in the dark silver pewter style metal logo design that really sets itself off on the darker blue material. The measurements are as follows: CHEST = 50 1/2 inches around the outside of the coat measured just under the armpits. This is measured around the circumference of the outside of the coat as if a person was wearing it. We do NOT measure laying flat. This is the more tailored fitting “New York Fit” cut through the chest. SLEEVES = 37 inches from the center of the back neckline to the end of the cuffs, 26 1/2 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuffs. TAIL = 32 1/2 inches from the BOTTOM of the collar to the end of the waistline hem in the rear. SHOULDERS = 20 1/4 inches wide from shoulder seam to shoulder seam WAISTLINE = 48 1/2 inches around the midsection of the coat at the button which is about 10 inches up from the bottom hem line. This is measured around the circumference of the outside of the coat as if a person was wearing it. We do NOT measure laying flat. This is the “New York Fit” cut at the midsection which is a slightly more slimmer tailored cut. This is a newer recent model design from Hart Schaffner Marx that was from Dillard’s and there is an extra label sewn inside the lining stating this. It was $295.00 when new. This great looking Hart Schaffner Marx blazer is perfect for any men’s wardrobe needs. This blazer was worn only for a few hours in total and is in very nice condition. The exterior material looks great overall. There isn’t anything noticeable or would make you not proud to wear this great contemporary blazer. Inside, there may be a few loose threads but nothing major at all. Overall this HSM blazer is very nice with no issues at all. This color and material is a true stand out and can be very versatile to match with slacks, performance pants or even dress jeans. If this size fits you, this is a great find!
