Description: This vessel is very old. I believe almost a 100 years. It holds a young male spirit who actually chose the life of a vampire over his earthly life. He lived near the port and would watch the boats dock and unload their cargo. He was intrigued with the different cultures that would come in and out of the port. He was a poor boy around the age of 15 and was basically on his own. He would take work and food when he could get it. He always had a constant hunger he couldn’t satisfy. There was never enough. He longed to know what it felt like to have a warm home and a loving family. One night he watched a very odd looking man and woman get off one of the boats following them were 3 small children. They were dressed in elegance and it just didn’t make sense to him. Where had they come from and why this late in the evening? He followed them and watched until he saw them attack and drink the blood from a local carriage driver. It was then he realized they were vampires. He had heard rumors of them mixing in with people but never had he seen it . He made it his purpose to be their next meal. Before the attack he begged them for a better life. Intrigued by him they obliged. He was turned and became one of them. Finally knowing what it felt like to be a part of something. Unfortunately their rein was cut short in the late 1800’s. His spirit was condemned to a vessel jar. When my grandmother received him. She picked out this vessel called the first taste. Everything on this statue may wear away but the lips will forever be stained red. He is locked and is more of a follower. Very easy to train and keep satisfied.
